As a professional hockey player I put an emphasis on keeping a high level of conditioning particularly offseason. I chose to workout 3 times a week at BT Fitness because they really understood the demands of my sport and also what I needed when it came to my post-season conditioning. After training there during the summer I felt more than adequately prepared to handle the grueling pre-season training with the rest of my team. I have been working in the fitness business for over 16 years as an Aerobic Director and Teacher, and Personal Trainer. I have tried every workout from Yoga to Kickboxing. Best! Workout! Ever! Love this place! I had been doing pilates faithfully for many years and just wasn’t seeing the results anymore, so I thought I’d switch things up and I tried BT Fitness. Adam and Kimberly have done an amazing job of removing the elitist attitude you find at many boutique gyms and replaced it with an enthusiastic, encouraging environment where your inner athlete can emerge. Class sizes are small (never larger than 8 people) and include plenty of individual attention. The trainers keep things fresh by creating custom workouts for each class. I have never done the same workout twice and am consistently challenged by new moves in each class. I am stronger, slimmer and way more confident in my abilities than I was when I first walked in the BT Fitness door. -Lisa J

I’ve been doing the standard weights and cardio workout for years and it was starting to feel stale.  My wife found BT Fitness and thought I would like it so I tried a free TRX / Kettlebell class.  It was exactly what I was looking for!  You get a very good total body workout that stresses balance and flexibility much more than my traditional workout.  These exercises have challenged my body in ways that my traditional workout can’t and as a result I can feel myself getting much more trim and toned and my abs are popping much more than they ever have. In the spirit of challenging my body I have even done some SPX classes, they aren’t just for girls!  It worked my legs and core much more effectively than I imagined and I will definietly continue to use it in my workout regimen. Adam and Kim really know their stuff and after a month of working out with them I can see and feel a significant difference in my body. -Matt J

I joined BT Fitness in early March to tighten up and strengthen my muscles after a lazy winter of not wanting to brave the cold weather in the mornings to exercise. As a former professional athlete in my 20s, after having had children in my 30s, then starting a business in my 40s, my active lifestyle had suffered a bit through the years and I noticed that I had lost some of its deep muscle tone.  I exercised every morning, but it wasn’t enough.  In addition, I had developed a bad knee and a weak ankle, and I was looking for an alternate to biking and running. Boy, did I ever find a gem of an exercise studio in BT Fitness!  After my first class, I felt every muscle awaken and my body felt tighter.  My body continues to feel this way after every class—longer, leaner, stronger…What a wonderful feeling! I am very impressed with both Adam and Kimberly as instructors.  They are both passionate about what they do, and have an amazing amount of knowledge between the two of them.  I really appreciate how they explain what muscle groups are being worked with each exercise, and how many of the exercises are designed to strengthen muscles with the same motions as we would use in any activities of our daily life, such as taking children out of the car, or lifting heavy items out of a grocery cart. All in all, I highly recommend BT Fitness to anyone who would like to see improvement in their bodies, whether it be for gorgeous, toned muscles or for assistance out of an injury.  Adam and Kimberly are awesome!  -Dawn H.

I first went to BT fitness because they were close by and convenient and I was looking for a fitness class. I have run and walked for years but knew I needed a workout that would strengthen more muscles. Both the SPX and the TRX classes provide a thorough aerobic/ anaerobic work-out. They challenge muscles I didn’t know I had! The trainers, Kimberly and Adam, are both knowledgeable, skillful, and accomplished at what they do. This is a fantastic work-out for the twenty somethings as well as the fifty somethings. It is 50 minutes well worth your time! -Alice M DMD

As a high school Lacrosse player I first started working with Adam after suffering a lumbar disc bulge my sophomore year. My condition lost my spot in Varsity Lacrosse and impaired me from doing simple activities such as walking because of the pain. He was not only able to help me rehabilitate my injury but also helped me to become one of the top players on the team when I came back senior year but also achieved Varsity Captainship. With Adam’s help I was able to continue playing Lacrosse and avoid having to have surgery for my injury. His training led me to become very physically fit even into college now, as I start my freshman year of college as a cadet in Boston College ROTC. Because of Adam, I am the most physically fit out of my class of 8 in BC ROTC. – James P.
